Job Description

Duties

  • Outbound "warm" calling to qualify click-throughs from email campaigns & leads from other promotional activity

  • Identifying & qualifying new business opportunities

  • Gathering incidental market information & competitor activity

  • Cleansing & updating prospect database

  • Follow up on new registrations & fielding incoming new business inquiries

  • Attendance at some external events

    Candidate Criteria:

  • Outbound telemarketing experience in a professional B to B environment

  • A subtle "Qualifier" rather than an aggressive "Closer"

  • Well-developed communication & listening skills

  • Customer driven

  • Intelligent, adaptable & insightful

  • Quick learner

  • Naturally inquisitive - researches and actively seeks out new business opportunities

  • Literate & numerate with good basic user-level IT skills

  • Thinks on their feet

  • Organised & hard working

  • Some breadth of experience & maturity of outlook

    Ideal but not Essential

  • Experience of software and/or accountancy sectors

  • Capable of doing online demos
