Job Description

Software Developer - (ASP, T-SQL) 

Duties

  • Support and maintenance of legacy web applications. This will require strong experience with server side scripting languages (eg. VBScript & PHP) & client-side languages such as HTML & JavaScript). You will need to have the ability to code by hand as opposed to using modern drag & drop IDE’s (such as .Net WebForms in Visual Studio) to auto generate code.
  • Design, create & maintain complex relational databases in MS SQL Server.
  • Develop and maintain complex T-SQL stored procedures and functions.
  • Developing new web applications in VB.net.

Candidate Criteria:

  • High level of proficiency in SQL Server development (TSQL).
  • Web development based languages (JavaScript, CSS, HTML).
  • Classic ASP and/or VBScript.

Desirable

  • PHP 5+
  • Experience configuring, implementing & troubleshooting IIS 7+ (PHP on IIS would also be beneficial)
  • JQuery (including AJAX).
  • Regular Expressions
